PAA 2009 Movie Review

Auro (Amitabh) 12 year progeria disease infected kid living with his mother Vidya (Vidya Balan) a gynecologist by profession and her mother (Arundhati Naag). Exceptionally witty Auro happens to be successful an award in his school from a youthful politician, In Paa movie Amol Arte (Abhishek bachan). On the same night when Vidya sees its broadcast, she apprehends that Auro really met his father for the first time. Throughout her student days abroad, she was in a relationship with Amol but had broken off with him over their conclusion whether to carry on the child or not. Amol required it terminated and not hand over for marriage as he required pursuing his political ambitions. Progeria precious children don't happen to live further than 13-14 years so when Auro subsides and she fears he is approaching his final phases of his life, she discloses to him that Amol is his father. What go behinds next and how Auro is instrumental and receiving his estranged parents back collectively forms the rest of the film.

Paa is R. Balki's next after the enormously adorable Cheeni Kum (2007). Balki had showcased foretaste of his brand of mocking humor in his debut film and with Paa he has totally established it. The film has been shrewdly narrated wounding away from unnecessary melodrama. The pacing is just wonderful. The range of child actors (including Mr. Bachchan) deserves special state. They do something their expected self and are extremely entertaining. Paa has abundance of magnificently written and enacted sequences like Auro's conversations with his best buddy in school Vishnu, Auro's successions with his distended toy King Kong, Amol - Vidya's quarrel over whether to keep their child or not, Amol revealing his detractors on live national television, Auro and Amol's frightening out all day in Delhi, Amol realizing Auro is his own child and lastly of course the climax.

With his Auro act, Amitabh Bachchan yet once more proves he is the Paa of all his generation where acting is apprehensive. The effortless method, in which he has accepted out such a demanding act, deserves a long reputation applause. He is absolutely bound to win all the performing awards for this one. Abhishek Bachchan has put up a very full-grown act. In fact you may feel like to abhorrence his character in the film originally, but full credit to him for production it very likeable. Vidya with her body language succeeds in communicating her single mom turmoil. She is easy natural as healthy and looks wow. Arundhati Naag is very good. Paresh Rawal in a short role as Abhishek's father is well controlled.
